As a ham radio operator and mechanical engineer I like good quality engineering. So space, military and avionics equipment is very interesting! Since space equipment, like the Apollo guidance computer, is very expensive and rare, I don't have space equipment. I bought some surplus radio transceivers and since the year 2020 I became more interested in avionics. It all started with a Tornado display unit. Years ago I couldn't afford one and I found recently a well proces one. And then I got the 'avionics virus'. I bought a small stack of instruments to reverse engineer and to revive them. I bought also some related equipment like a 400 Hz (single phase) 115VAC power supply. Well, there are some images shown below of my proud 'collection'.
